Matt and Annabel’s relationship began long before romance was even a thought—They first met as kids the Tram Shed pottery class. Annabel wasn’t exactly impressed: Matt had a habit of outrunning her in games of tip, which made him more of a rival than a friend. Matt, on the other hand, remembered Annabel fondly, with a personality as fiery as her hair.

However life took them separate ways for a while. But they crossed paths again as teenagers,

and Annabel was drawn to Matt's charm and humour through board games and shared classes. This led to a deepening friendship, which carried them through Covid, growing closer over texts and calls. With that, the years of friendship transformed into love.
